I was spoiled with my first born, they were a fairly easy baby and toddler, and a pretty low maintenance kid overall. When they grew a little older, I decided to add another child into the mix, and I was proven wrong on just how difficult parenting is. I would judge other mothers on their inabilities because with my child, I had plenty of time to pour all of my energy into her and only her. It is so much different when you have to divide that energy in half.
- Going from one child to two was more than I’d bargained for, instead of having plenty of energy, I now had to divide it.
- Sometimes, I am unable to put all that I want into two children because I just don’t have the energy.
- I always judged moms for cutting corners, but now I get it, it’s hard.
“Those of you with more than one kid, some of you with more than two, or three, or FOUR, how do you do it?”
